To balance this, we’ve included a “Make an Offer” button on our store, giving you the opportunity to let us know if you’ve found a better deal elsewhere.
If your submitted offer highlights a price discrepancy that conflicts with manufacturer pricing guidelines, we will promptly adjust our system to stay in line with those rules. Why We Follow MAP Pricing
At Battle Born Armory, we work directly with our manufacturers to bring you authentic, high-quality products. As part of this relationship, we have a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) agreement in place. MAP is a policy set by the manufacturer that establishes the lowest price any authorized dealer (including us) is allowed to advertise a product for sale.
This agreement is very important. If we were to sell items below the MAP price, we would be in violation of our contract with the manufacturer. That could result in us losing the ability to carry their products altogether, meaning we would no longer be able to offer you their firearms, accessories, or gear.
By honoring MAP pricing, we protect our partnership with the manufacturer, ensure the products you buy are always backed by their warranty and support, and maintain a level playing field across all authorized dealers. This helps prevent counterfeit or gray-market items from undercutting legitimate sellers and guarantees that when you shop with us, you’re getting genuine products at the most competitive pricing we are allowed to advertise.
How are other stores selling the product cheaper than your pricing?
We cannot speak for how other stores choose to sell products below a manufacturer’s MAP (Minimum Advertised Price). However, under our agreements with manufacturers, we are required to report any retailer advertising below MAP so the manufacturer can investigate.
In our experience, many of these below-MAP sellers are not authorized dealers. Instead, they often source counterfeit or imitation products from overseas companies on platforms like Alibaba or Temu. These knockoffs are typically manufactured in China and are designed to look identical to the original product—sometimes even carrying the manufacturer’s name or logo—but they do not meet the same standards of quality, safety, or warranty protection.
By following MAP guidelines and working only with manufactures, Battle Born Armory ensures that every item you purchase is 100% genuine, backed by the manufacturer’s warranty, and built to the standard you expect.
